This leading national law firm with a well regarded family law practice has an exciting opportunity for a 4-10 PAE family lawyer to join their high performing, collaborative team. The firm embraces work flexibility, technological innovation and a has a genuinely collegiate, team based culture. 

Role
Rare opportunity for experienced family lawyer at Senior Associate or Associate level to accelerate their career.



Responsibilities include:

  • Providing detailed family law advice to clients by way of phone, written correspondence and in conference
  • Analysing financial discovery
  • Drafting court documents, Binding Financial Agreements, Child Support Agreements and settlement documents
  • Appearing at administrative court events and conferences on behalf of clients
  • Instructing counsel during court hearings, mediations and conferences
  • Engaging barristers, third party valuers, financial advisors and therapeutic professionals
  • Preparing briefs to counsel
  • Collaborating with senior practitioners when advising clients and managing client files
  • Corresponding with opposing solicitors
  • Delegating work and providing instructions to lawyers, paralegals and administrative support
  • Supporting graduates and seasonal clerks throughout their rotations
  • Retaining & building referrer relationships

You may currently be a Senior Associate who is seeking to join a firm free from bureaucracy and politics where you will have autonomy over your practice and be well rewarded for your hard work. Alternatively you may be Associate facing road blocks to SA at your current firm. You will be commercially and IT savvy, with an ability to develop business and foster strong relationships with your clients.
