Roles
Our client has a number of roles available for junior to SA level financial services lawyers due to the increased volume of work in this practice, not all as a result of the FSR Royal Commission. The partner leading the team genuinely cares about the lawyers in his team and is a talented mentor. The culture is collaborative, meritocratic and team driven. The primary area of focus is on the regulation of retail financial services, including financial advice and distribution, insurance, superannuation, platforms, products, strategic regulatory advice and investigations.
You
You will be an intellectually curious, smart, commercial and solutions focused lawyer. You may already be employed at another leading firm, or if you are at a junior point in your career, you could be at one of the regulators, major banks or insurance companies. These roles represent career defining opportunities to develop your career in a relatively new area of law, in a collegiate team where you will be rewarded for your efforts financially, and with the ability to continue to work flexibly long term. A WLB is also achievable in this team due to the advice focused nature of the work.
