About Us

Aitken Legal is a boutique Employment Law firm providing advice and legal representation to Employers, with offices on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Melbourne. Our lawyers are true specialists in Employment Law and we pride ourselves in knowing our clients and providing them with high quality professional advice and representation in all aspects of the employment minefield.

We are also on the Whole of Government Legal Services Panel in Queensland for the provision of legal services in workplace relations law.  For a boutique regional firm to be on this panel is recognition for our professionalism; specialisation and the quality of service we provide to our clients.

About the Role

In order to ensure that we continue to provide exceptional service to our clients, we are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team. Our clients range from large private companies and government bodies to small family businesses, and cover all industries.

This position can be in either our Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Melbourne office and is available as full-time or initially part-time with the ability to increase to full-time.

About You

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years current experience in all facets of Employment Law in Australia
  • Experience must be in providing Employment Law advice to Employers
  • Experience working with public sector clients will be very beneficial, in particular Queensland Government and local government
  • Be a strong communicator with experience in networking, presenting seminars and developing/nurturing a client base
  • Have a history of strong relationships with clients
  • Enjoy working within a team as well as autonomously
