Job Description

BlueRock Law is seeking a Partner Level lawyer to lead and develop our commercial division. After 14 years of accelerated growth, with national and global growth plans, this is a unique opportunity to be the key player in the development of this multi disciplinary firm. You will have the opportunity to rapidly grow an existing commercial client base, execute a succession plan for existing leaders, and leverage growth of the practice through referrals from our large team of accountants, brokers and wealth professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Commercial documents including JV Agreements, Partnership Deeds, Buy-Sell Agreements, Trust Deeds, Shareholders Agreements and related documents.
  • Mergers and Acquisition, Sale and purchase of businesses;
  • Corporate Restructures;
  • General corporate and commercial advisory;
  • Commercial Leasing;
  • Regulatory Advice
  • Providing support and guidance to commercial lawyers at various levels including client relationships, technical competencies, billings and targets
  • Identifying and executing on new business opportunities
  • Network within the BlueRock community to gain referrals from our accountants, financial planners, finance brokers and other professionals

Requirements

We are looking for people with:

  • 8+ years’ PAE
  • Demonstrated experience and success across a range of commercial matters
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills to develop key relationships with team members and clients
  • Passion and commitment towards developing a practice including business development
