An exciting and pivotal career opportunity for a talented Administration Assistant to join the Legal Team at this reputable Construction Company supporting and working closely with a Paralegal. It’s all about you…
As the In-house Legal Administration Assistant to a Paralegal and as a key member of the Legal Team you will be responsible for providing the highest level of support to ensure everything runs smoothly. 
If you pride yourself on your ability to be one step ahead, you’ll definitely relish this opportunity to use your initiative on a daily basis as assume responsibility for; 

  • assisting with administrative tasks allocated by the Paralegal
  • setting up, organising, managing and maintaining the Legal departments data management software, electronic filing systems and legal documents
  • confirming and scheduling meetings and hearings for the General Counsel, including preparing required materials /documents
  • diary management
  • word-processing documents and drafting own correspondence
  • managing incoming calls and mail with respect to legal matters, including drafting responses for legal review
  • accounts, invoices and expenses
  • Liaising with clients
  • filing and records management
  • co-ordinating statutory declarations for head contract claims
  • other ad hoc and general administrative tasks as required on a daily basis

A major component of this role is liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a national and international level and as such the ability to develop relationships at all levels is critical to the success of this role.
Skills and experience we’d love…

  • demonstrated experience in a similar role working for Senior Management or a Legal Department – administration experience is a MUST!
  • exceptional inter-personal and communication skills
  • well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • a high level of diplomacy, tact and discretion
  • initiative and flexibility
  • advanced MS Office skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
