Our client is a highly successful global tech business with an outstanding reputation for providing cloud-based solutions to its clients worldwide. Due to its continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer with a strong IT and commercial background, to join the team to support the global business with a focus within the APAC region.
This role will support the business in all legal matters relating to the day to day running of the business, including customer negotiations, regional procurement, compliance and dealing with data protection/ regulatory queries.
Working closely with the wider teams, you will manage the creation and negotiation of commercial contracts relating to:
- Partnership/Collaboration Agreements
- Master Agreements for multi-tenanted SaaS
- Professional Services Agreements
- Amending existing customer agreements
- Processing and dealing with customer questionnaires
- Providing advice on data protection/financial regulation
You will also advise across a broad range of topics, and managing the process for; supplier agreements, business risks, due diligence and existing supplier agreements.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PAE as a commercial lawyer within private practice or an in-house environment with experience of working in the technology field. You will have experience of handling negotiations of SaaS implementations with large regulated organisations and the ability to negotiate complex technology contracts with regulated entities. Experience of Software contracting in Singapore is highly desirable.
